Frequently Asked Questions
What are peptides?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids, the same building blocks that make up proteins. Your body makes them naturally and uses them as signaling molecules that tell cells what to do. Different peptides carry different instructions, which is why one may be studied for metabolism and another for skin or recovery.
How do I know if this peptide is right for me?
You should start by selecting a treatment based on your personal health goals. Once you have selected a treatment, you will enter you medical history and a licensed physician will determine if the treatment is right for you.
How is this different from the peptides sold online without a prescription?
Peptides and similar therapeutics sold without a prescription are typically sold as research chemicals and labelled as not for human consumption. Those products are not made in a licensed pharmacy, are often imported, and there is usually no verifiable certificate of analysis, no sterility assurance, and no recourse if the contents are not what the label says.
What you get from Phases is a preparation made by a state-licensed compounding pharmacy against a prescription written for you, with a lot you can trace and testing you can ask to see.
What happens after I select a treatment?
After selecting a treatment you will be asked to complete a health intake that asks about your health history, including current medications, allergies and goals. A clinician licensed in your state reviews your information and decides whether the treatment is appropriate for you. If they approve it, they write a prescription and a licensed compounding pharmacy prepares it and ships it to you. If your doctor has questions, they will reach out to you before deciding.
Once shipped, you should receive your treatment in approximately 2 business days, along with administration instructions. If you have any follow up questions, you can message your assigned doctor directly via the Phases website.
Placing an order is a request for an evaluation, not a purchase of medication, though we accept payment for your prescription in advance for convenience. In the event you are not approved for a treatment, you will be refunded the amount of your prescription minus the cost of medical evaluation.
How is it shipped and stored?
Once your prescription is filled, most orders arrive within about two business days.
Temperature-sensitive products are shipped cold to limit time at room temperature. A package that feels cool, or close to room temperature, on arrival is normal. Refrigerate promptly
